Just for those who don't have The Sims 3
If you have an expansion pack example, Late Night, you CANNOT play because you don't have The Sims 3 game. At first you have to buy or just have The Sims 3 to play the expansion pack. On the back of each expansion pack it says : Requires The Sims 3 to play . Take a look:
